Renewable Energy Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Integration Specialist to lead the commissioning of various renewable projects, working closely with transmission and distribution network service providers across the National Electricity Market.

  • Develop a coordinated vision and framework for integrating generation and storage technologies into the NEM.
  • Provide oversight of generator commissioning and diagnose performance challenges in generators and power systems.

About the Role
  • Lead the commissioning of renewable projects through to full output operation.
  • Carry out R2 model validation and drive the R2 close out.
  • Proactively strengthen technical collaboration with clients by ensuring that individual project issues are constructively resolved.

You will provide expert technical advice and decision-making, utilising constructive and open problem-solving across areas of performance standard assessment, power system stability, system strength remediation, registration, and commissioning. Additionally, you will support regulatory changes to recognise and facilitate the integration of large-scale renewable energy projects into the Australian electricity market.
