Experienced Event Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned event professional to join our team in Melbourne. This is a key role within the Sales & Events team, responsible for sales and event coordination across multiple venues.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with clients and other departments to deliver exceptional events
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple events simultaneously
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve revenue targets and client satisfaction
  • Utilize organizational and technical skills to manage events efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues and external partners
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio visual equipment and décor
  • Ensure events run smoothly, on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with a hospitality or tourism company
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High attention to detail and ability to make calculated decisions
  • Outgoing personality with strong negotiation skills
