Workforce Planning Specialist

About This Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disability. As the Rostering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our resourcing and rostering function, ensuring accurate, cost-effective, and timely allocation of resources across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the resourcing and rostering function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve rostering processes, systems, and tools to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to forecast staffing needs, ensuring the right skill sets are available to meet demand.
- Oversee and optimise the recruitment, scheduling, and allocation of staff in line with business demands and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Enterprise Agreements, company policies, and best practices in all rostering activities.
- Analyse resourcing data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance workforce performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement technology solutions that streamline rostering practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a resourcing, rostering, or workforce planning role.
- Strong understanding of rostering and scheduling software, and experience implementing or optimising such systems.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge on application of Enterprise Agreements, and best practices in workforce management.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex projects.
