Workers Compensation Lawyer Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Workers Compensation Lawyer to join our firm in Sydney.

About the Job:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to injured workers in their claims for compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine entitlement to compensation.
  • Advise on medical treatment options.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurers.
  • Prepare and file necessary documentation.
  • Represent clients at hearings and mediations.
  • Liaise with medical professionals, insurers, and other relevant parties.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate client files and billing records.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of firm processes and procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior lawyers and paralegals (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Lawyer in NSW.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving positive outcomes for clients.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong client service orientation and empathy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
