About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Leader to join our Service Management team as a Production Service Manager - Platform Excellence. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Service Management platform portfolio and achieve target service performance, maturity level, and risk profile.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and sustainability of critical services.
  • Maintain Service Quality to the highest level on behalf of customers, own issues and improvements across all parts of the service.
  • Adhere to Technology framework and manage risk profile to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Understand service integration and maintain ongoing understanding of business and platform strategies, evolving technologies, legislations, regulatory & security changes.
  • Manage performance and stability of applications, systems, and components which form the end-to-end service.
  • Produce and be accountable for platform performance metrics aligned to industry best in class.
  • Manage technology as per Westpac standard processes & policies.
  • Manage operational relationships with partners to improve quality of Technology services delivered.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Senior technology / platform leadership experience (5+ years).
  • Technology tertiary degree (or equivalent).
  • Business and technology relationship management at senior levels (2+ years).
  • Vendor management experience (2+ years).
  • Performance orientation.
  • Service Management experience (5+ years).
Desirable Skills

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

  • Service Now experience (2+ years).
  • Westpac experience (2 years).
  • ITILv4 Certification.
  • Service Now CSA or higher.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as Rest API's.
  • Knowledge of key upstream and downstream systems in the Westpac environment.
