Empowering Customer Success
Microsoft is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Leader to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Cyber Resilience team, you will lead a team of highly skilled Technical Specialists who work with our customers to improve their digital estate.
With a strong background in technology-related sales and account management, you will provide leadership and sponsorship to drive strategic changes and foster synergies between different parts of Microsoft. Your expertise in growing market share, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with partners will be invaluable in this role.
Responsibilities- People Leadership: You will deliver success through empowerment and accountability, attracting, developing, and retaining talent, and building diverse teams.
- Scale Customer Engagements: You will enable and empower your team to influence customer decisions, streamline processes, and manage the flow of wins, leveraging deep knowledge of processes and aligning goals across solution areas.
- Scaling and Collaboration: You will coach your team to learn and apply the orchestration model, guide them to build a network of partners, and interact with Core leadership and senior-level stakeholders to get support for your team and the ANZ area.
- Sales Excellence: You will lead your team to identify and support new opportunities, bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements, and lead a virtual cross-organisational team on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments.
- Solution Design and Proof: You will oversee your team in guiding customers through digital transformation solutions, applying advanced sales methodologies, and envisioning new and innovative solutions that use Microsoft technology to meet customer needs.
- Technical Expertise: You will coach your team on business and market knowledge, act as a thought leader to help them connect Microsoft solutions to customer business impact, and enable and empower them to develop technical expertise.
- 7+ years of technology-related sales, account management experience.
- Experience engaging and managing relationships with CXO-level stakeholders, cultivating strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience growing market share, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with partners for optimal business results.
- Industry qualifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified SCADA Security Professional (CSSP), or similar.
