Seeking a forward-thinking Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the financial operations department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CFO in driving commercial success.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual looking to step up in their career. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to the CFO in the commercial delivery of mining contracts, maintaining mine site financial models, and carrying out commercial compliance reviews and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CFO in leading the organisation's financial objectives
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders relating to process and financial management
  • Review and develop strategies for business performance improvements
  • Maintain and deliver financial models, reports, and budget forecasts
  • Maintain project and business operational and variation costs

Requirements:

  • Hold qualifications as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
  • Have sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess sound time management and organisational skills
  • Have a flexible approach to problem solving
  • Have strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Have a detailed understanding of financial structures, systems, and operational requirements
