Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Specialist plays a critical role in managing financial operations, accounting, and reporting for investment trusts and property portfolios.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our accounting and finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for investment trusts and property portfolios.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports for investment properties and trusts.
  • Process investment transactions, including distributions, redemptions, and new investments.
  • Coordinate property valuations and maintain asset valuation records.
  • Calculate and process regular unitholder distributions.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis on investment performance and property assets.
  • Assist with trust establishment documentation and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate NAV calculations for investment trusts.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports for management, unitholders, and trustees.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or accounting.
  • Previous experience in investment accounting or property trust accounting.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Knowledge of property investment structures and trust accounting.
