Job Description

We're looking for a friendly and approachable individual to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, your primary responsibility will be to provide a warm and welcoming experience for our guests from the moment they arrive at our hotel.

You'll be the first point of contact for our guests, so it's essential that you're able to communicate effectively and efficiently. You'll need to be proactive in addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during their stay.

In addition to providing excellent customer service, you'll also be responsible for processing guest reservations, updates, and special requests. This will involve using our property management system to ensure seamless scheduling and availability.

As a key member of our team, you'll be expected to work across a 7-day roster between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Occasionally, you may be required to work shifts outside of these hours.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival
  • Maintaining clear and courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Overseeing the accurate processing of guest reservations, updates, and special requests
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment
  • An exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums
  • The ability to consistently deliver an exceptional standard of service, exhibiting a proactive and positive approach to addressing guest needs and exceeding expectations
  • Adept at fostering positive guest experiences and maintaining high satisfaction levels through attentive service and problem resolution
  • Maintains a polished and professional presentation, reflecting the values and standards of the organisation
  • Fully committed to a dynamic work schedule, including the ability to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts to meet operational requirements
