Recreational Activities Officer
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Recreational Activities Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging recreational activities that promote the social, emotional, and physical well-being of our residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with older adults and has a strong background in leisure and lifestyle services. As a Recreational Activities Officer, you will work collaboratively with other staff members to develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or willing to complete) and experience working with people with dementia. You will also hold a current NSW/ACT Driver's Licence and be able to take clients on outings. Senior First Aid Certification is essential, as is previous experience in caring for the elderly within an Aged or Community Care setting.
The ideal candidate will have highly developed organisation and time management skills, as well as an understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes. You will be a team player who is committed to providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
