This is a permanent role for a Consultant Paediatrician to provide specialist services in a dynamic Child & Adolescent Unit and Special Care Nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- Provide teaching and training opportunities for medical students and junior staff.
- Australia Specialist Ahpra Registration or eligibility to apply.
- FRACP qualification or equivalent.
- IMGs eligible for Competent Authority Pathway from UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.
- Hong Kong, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Singaporean doctors welcome to apply.
$200,000 - $300,000 per annum.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a 13-bed Child & Adolescent Unit and an 8-12 bed, level 4 Special Care Nursery. The hospital provides middle grade cover 24/7 in 12 hour shifts, with three Paediatric Advanced Trainees seconded from the Sydney Children's Hospital Network and one local Paediatric Trainee. There are numerous opportunities for teaching and professional development throughout the region.
