Financial Analyst, Performance Reporting
This is a pivotal role in shaping how our business understands and responds to performance. The successful candidate will deliver timely and insightful reporting that supports effective decision-making and drives continuous improvement.
This role is more than just numbers; it's about building strong relationships with stakeholders, collaborating across teams, and contributing to a culture that values transparency and accountability.
We're looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate complex ideas simply. If you have experience in financial analysis or a related field, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and consolidate month-end reporting packs, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather inputs and provide insights for reporting and forecasting.
- Own and maintain presentation materials, with the potential to present to senior stakeholders.
- Manage all overheads reporting for Merchant Energy, including variance analysis.
- Lead the overhead forecasting process, ensuring major Opex items are captured.
- Experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Strong understanding of profit and loss statements and financial fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical tasks or roles involving data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with Power BI and/or SQL is desirable.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for reporting and presenting insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
