**Business Data Analyst Position**

We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated reports that meet the needs of senior stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and develop reporting solutions that provide accurate and timely insights into business performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerBI and SQL, with a strong preference for Python. They should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, they must be able to lead projects from design to implementation and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain and govern a suite of automated reports that sit within a tightly controlled governance framework.
  2. Drive best practice in the reporting area, and offer insights to improve and optimize business performance reporting.
  3. Work closely with financial assurance, business performance, business partnering, and financial control teams to understand their requirements and develop appropriate reporting solutions.
  4. Provide accurate and timely reports to senior stakeholders, ensuring that data is presented in a clear and understandable way.
  5. Lead projects to develop new reporting solutions, from design to implementation.
  6. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of reporting projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with PowerBI and SQL.
  • Python strongly preferred but not essential.
  • Exposure to cloud is beneficial.
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead projects from design to implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
