Lease Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lease Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Lease Admin role in Retail/Property and will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and occupancy payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions Management: Manage all financial transactions and occupancy payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including landlords and tenants.
  • Annual Outgoings Budgeting: Prepare and manage annual outgoings budgets, forecasting future expenses and costs.
  • Data Entry and Management: Enter accurate data into the lease management system, ensuring seamless integration and record-keeping.
  • Budget Review and Approval: Review and approve budgeted variable Outgoings and actuals to ensure charges are in line with the lease.
  • Occupancy Costs Management: Oversee occupancy costs, including Base rent, outgoings, extended trade, and other occupancy costs.
  • Lease Review and Negotiation: Review leases and handle negotiations with landlords, ensuring fair and beneficial agreements.
  • Support for Property Managers: Assist property managers with Lease Options & other lease renewals, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess experience that includes lease details, payments and budgeting, interpreting and managing property leases & negotiating based on financial data.
  • Outgoings Review: Conduct thorough reviews of property Outgoings, ensuring compliance with lease agreements and optimizing cost savings.
  • Occupancy Cost Accounting: Demonstrate a clear understanding of occupancy cost accounting principles and practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Lease Admin role in Retail/Property is essential.
