About the Role

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives as a Support Worker.

We are looking for individuals who can work flexible hours on a roster system, providing support to people of all ages and backgrounds with daily living tasks, mobility assistance, and community engagement.

  • Providing personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing and more
  • Administering medications
  • Transferring individuals using hoists and/or slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility
  • Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
  • Community engagement, such as attending GP appointments, grocery shopping or social or recreational activities of their choice
  • Before or after school support including homework, tea preparation, games

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Capacity to work flexible hours on a roster system
  • Great communication skills dedicated to providing the best service for every person
  • Calm and confident in all different environments and understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
  • Belief in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
