Job Title: Animal Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an animal care assistant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the animals in our care.

Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality care and attention to animals, including feeding, grooming and exercise.
  • Monitor animal health and wellbeing, identifying any potential issues and taking prompt action to address them.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.
  • Assist with training and socialization of animals to help them become confident and well-adjusted companions.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certificate in animal studies or related field.
  • Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Availability during school holiday periods.
