Job Description

Certificate III Sports Turf Management is a nationally accredited trade qualification that will equip you with the skills and knowledge to maintain high-quality sports facilities.

As a trainee sports turf manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Repairing damage and regulating pest control on sports fields, including tennis courts, bowling clubs and cricket clubs.
  • Mowing, aerating, top dressing, irrigating and fertilising turf.
  • Tending to gardens around the clubhouse and maintaining green borders, fairways and greens.

You must have a passion for working outdoors and operating heavy machinery such as tractors, scarifiers and large lawn mowers. Our team-oriented work environment requires individuals who are passionate about customer service and possess an outgoing personality to deal with a variety of people.
