Sports Turf Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Apprentice Groundsperson/Greenkeeper.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of golf courses and surrounding areas. Key duties include:
- Mowing, weeding, fertilising, irrigation, and watering tasks
- Operating equipment with precision and care
Main responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across properties and surrounding areas
- Undertaking grounds care activities including mowing, fertilising, and gardening
- Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and management
- Maintaining tools and equipment in excellent working order
- Caring for pool and spa areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
- Identifying hazards and reporting them promptly to relevant authorities
- Fostering professional relationships with guests, colleagues, and management alike
Upon completion of the 4-year apprenticeship, the successful candidate will receive a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their field.
