Job Description

As a Sports Turf Maintenance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors and maintain sports turf surfaces.

You will gain practical skills and knowledge to keep our open spaces and sports fields well-presented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on sports turf surfaces
  • Assist in the preparation of sports fields for events and tournaments
  • Contribute to the overall upkeep of our outdoor spaces
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working outdoors and maintaining sports turf surfaces
  • Practical experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
  • Formal qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field (desired)
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and licenses
Benefits and Working Arrangements

We offer:

  • Temporary Full-time employment up to 4 years
  • 38 hours per week with access to a 9 Day-fortnight roster
  • Salary ranges from $601.70 per week (for a 16-year-old) up to $827.40 per week (for someone aged 18 and over)
  • 12% superannuation

  • Compulsory course costs are paid by Council
