Job Title: Senior Program Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to international agricultural research and global food security by supporting strategic partnerships with leading global and regional organisations.

This role will involve working closely with the Director to manage multilateral, regional, and co-investment partnerships and stakeholder engagement strategies. The successful candidate will have excellent program management skills and be able to make informed decisions using scientific analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing complex programs or partnerships in government, research, or international contexts
  • Preparing contracts, tenders, funding agreements and high-level correspondence
  • Conducting research analysis and synthesising scientific reports to support investment decisions
  • Assisting with preparation and monitoring of operating budgets

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and program management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing complex programs or partnerships in government, research, or international contexts
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence working in culturally diverse and international settings
  • Technical proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and program systems
