Agricultural Advisory Specialist

This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of agricultural operations and providing tailored strategies for farmers to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities include analysing soil quality, crop performance, and livestock conditions. Strategies and recommendations are developed to advise on optimal crop choices, irrigation methods, and livestock management practices.

Potential risks related to pests, diseases, weather conditions, and market fluctuations are assessed and proactive solutions provided to mitigate adverse impacts.

The Agricultural Advisory Specialist will stay informed about local and national agricultural regulations and help clients adhere to environmental, safety, and compliance standards.

Farmers will be educated through workshops and training sessions on best practices, sustainable farming methods, and the latest developments in agriculture.

The role requires effective communication with clients, ongoing support, addressing concerns, and adapting strategies based on evolving needs and industry trends.

The specialist will also analyse market trends and demands to guide farmers in strategic decision-making related to crop selection, pricing strategies, and market positioning.

The specialist will promote environmentally responsible approaches, including soil conservation, water management, and biodiversity enhancement.

To succeed in this position, applicants should have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or a related field, as well as experience in a similar role.

Remuneration Package:
