Gardening Team Member Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to enable exceptional gardening services by delivering outstanding results. Effective communication with customers ensures mutual understanding of their needs and expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers.
  • Provide expert knowledge specific to your experience and skills base.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure all tasks and services are completed in the safest possible manner.
  • Communicate incidents, opportunities for upselling, client concerns, and unavailability through team chats.
  • Organize and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies before each service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license allowing manual vehicle operation.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • National Criminal Record Check.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week, starting at our office in St Marys.

Benefits:

  • Able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods, following manual handling techniques.
  • Capacity to mow, weed, whip, hedge, prune, and spray while carrying up to 10 kg of equipment.
  • Able to drive or be in a vehicle for up to 8 hours with regular breaks.
  • Capacity to lift up to 10 kg unassisted (25 kg assisted) or move, slide, push, and pull 15 kg unassisted (50 kg assisted).
