About Our Gardening and Maintenance Role

We are seeking a skilled gardener and maintenance officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining gardens, grounds and assets to ensure well-presented, safe and compliant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain gardens, grounds and assets to ensure they are in excellent condition.
  • Operate, maintain and undertake minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on gardening equipment.
  • Effectively manage time and solve problems in an outdoor environment with limited supervision.
  • Assist with general labouring duties, minor engineering repairs and knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common organisational goals.
  • Hold a current unrestricted drivers' licence and have the ability to drive/travel as required.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in garden and ground maintenance.
  • Ability to operate, maintain and undertake minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on gardening equipment.
  • Time management and problem solving skills necessary to work with limited supervision in an outdoor environment.
  • General labouring duties, minor engineering repairs and knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common organisational goals.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence and ability to maintain.
