Compact Construction Equipment Business Development Representative

Brandt is in an exciting growth phase, and we are seeking a Compact Construction Equipment Business Development Representative to join our Sunshine sales team.
Role Overview
As a Compact Construction Equipment Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for bringing enthusiasm and a desire to learn to the table every day on a team dedicated to world-class customer service and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area.
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
- Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
- Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management.
- Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
- Know and follow a defined sales process.
- Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process.
- Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
- Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
- Monitor trends in customer business activities and timely communicate to management.
- Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
- Report to Brandt as directed, including sales reports as managers require.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual with strong customer service skills, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Experience in the sales industry and/or knowledge of heavy equipment is considered an asset. The ideal candidate must be able to build relationships and prospect new accounts.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
