Overview: CBRE is recognized as the premier and largest provider of commercial real estate services and investment solutions. Our Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Projects team is seeking a dedicated professional to manage and execute a variety of technical projects focused on electric vehicle (EV), solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion CBRE's Core Values: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, promote teamwork, and deliver value through diversity.
  • Project Opportunity Identification: Generate project leads from a portfolio of global maintenance contracts.
  • Technical Evaluation: Provide insightful due-diligence assessments on EV project opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with broader project teams to ensure alignment on project timelines, scale, and deployment locations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide feasibility assessments for their energy initiatives.
  • Scope Definition: Collaborate with developers, designers, and subcontractors to outline and document project scopes.
  • Commercial Viability: Ensure that all projects meet commercial viability standards and adhere to contractual terms.
  • Policy Compliance: Manage projects in accordance with company policies and procedures related to commercial activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • In-depth knowledge of EV and solar/BESS infrastructure requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering EV installations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in construction or critical environments.
  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with fuel forecourt operations and WorkPlace Clearance Group (WPCG) standards.
  • Understanding of EV technologies, including DC hardware requirements and electrical standards.
  • Experience in civil and electrical construction in hazardous environments.
  • Technical qualifications in construction or electrical engineering, or a related trade background.
  • Project management certification or progress towards certification is desirable.
