Maintenance Operations Specialist

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable execution of maintenance tasks at our Weipa Operations site. You will maintain and operate various equipment and infrastructure, conducting routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair tailings and water infrastructure.
  • Monitor dam performance and conduct regular assessments.
  • Operate potable water and waste water plants efficiently.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement water sampling protocols.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification (e.g., plumber, fitter, boilermaker, electrician) is highly desirable.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is also a significant advantage.
  • A current C Class Manual Driver's License is mandatory.
  • A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
