We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to contribute to our Brisbane team's success. As a Civil Designer at Orion Group, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, collaborating with a dynamic team of engineers, surveyors, and planners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake design and drafting of civil engineering projects, including roads and drainage systems
  • Coordinate design and drafting activities with drafters to ensure that drawing sets meet company standards
  • Utilise Auto CAD, 12 D and other design software to create accurate plans and profiles
  • Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop project solutions and ensure design accuracy
  • Develop innovative solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects
  • Effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, including the ability to prepare reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Civil Design experience
  • Civil Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent
  • Strong communication and relationship building with clients and stakeholders
  • Intermediate working knowledge with civil design software (Auto CAD, 12 D, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of civil design
