About the Role:

Civil Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with experience in road construction to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure project management team, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, coordinating with project engineers, and monitoring project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sub-contractors and coordinate with project engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and record project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in civil construction of transport and road infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying policies, legislation, technical guidelines, practices, and procedures.
  • A stable career history with reputable civil contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hold relevant tickets and licenses.
  • Proactively contribute to HSE obligations and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Membership with the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust).
