About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Designer to join our team at ACOR Consultants. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our company, both locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop concept and construction designs and documentation using 12D software.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and draftspersons in relation to civil engineering projects.
  • Design civil plans for a range of project types, including land subdivisions, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with ACOR staff, external project consultants, clients, and public authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of ACOR's national civil design, CAD, and IT systems.
  • Assume design manager roles in addition to civil design delivery if desired.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering Design or equivalent.
  • Wide range of experience considered on merit, minimum 3 years post education.
  • Demonstrate experience in a range of projects including commercial, infrastructure, land development, and other multidisciplinary works.
  • Experience in urban design highly regarded.
  • Experience in geometric design and traffic management highly regarded but not essential.
