Job Opportunity

This role focuses on enhancing overall health, wellbeing and resilience of families through the delivery of impactful interventions.

It is situated within a cluster aiming to improve health and wellbeing of people who are considered homeless or use drugs and/or alcohol.

  • Delivery of evidence-based interventions and harm reduction support either as a single session intervention or ongoing
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including government departments and community agencies
  • Collection of accurate data in line with relevant quality frameworks
  • Continued development of standards of practice and skills

Key requirements include:

  • Relevant qualifications in AOD/Mental health or similar
  • Understanding of and commitment to Harm Minimisation and the models that underpin Family Drug Support
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Drug & Alcohol sector
  • Experience providing brief interventions, single session interventions and ongoing support
