About the Role

The Defence Assistance Program (DAP) Coordinator will support Defence personnel to focus on their core duties, working in partnership with Defence at ten sites nationally.

  • Actively marketing the service and growing DAP activities at the Defence Site.
  • Building and maintaining networks with the local Defence community.
  • Managing any issues that may arise and escalating appropriately when required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering presentations to Defence clients considering accessing the Services.
  • Facilitating all required training for all DAP Team members, including security and emergency response requirements.
  • Managing DAP Team absences and advising the Defence Representative of DAP Team absences or closures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the Disability sector.
  • Cert IV in Disability Support (desirable).
  • Experience working with people with a disability in an employment setting.
