Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Research Specialist to join our team in the Melbourne Health Pathology Service, Biochemistry Laboratory.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of biochemical analyses using both automated and manual methods. They will also undertake other related duties as required and participate in a rotational 24/7 shift roster.

  • A Bachelor's degree in science or applied science is required.
  • Experience in a tertiary hospital or private Biochemistry and/or Immunology laboratory is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
