About You

A medical specialist qualification in an area relevant to the role is essential. A PhD or equivalent research doctorate in a relevant health or medical discipline is also required. Fellowship of a recognised medical college and registration (or eligibility) with a professional body without conditions is necessary.

Internationally recognised research achievements, with a strong track record in competitive grant funding and high-impact publications, are expected. Strategic and financial acumen, with the ability to lead complex organisations, is also required.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. A deep understanding of research governance, ethics, intellectual property, and collaborative partnerships is necessary.

A demonstrated commitment to health equity, innovation, and transformative leadership is expected.
