About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accounts and Payments Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about financial management and wants to make a positive impact in a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the accounts payable inbox, responding promptly to queries and invoices.
  • Review and validate all incoming documents through internal systems to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and execute payments according to schedules and policies.
  • Support month-end closing and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding inquiries and concerns.
  • Promote continuous improvement of AP processes and controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Excellent communication skills and time management abilities.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with finance systems.
