Job Overview

The Hotel Operations Coordinator is a key position responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.

  • Anticipate guests' needs and act on them whenever possible.
  • Promote a positive working environment and ensure all tasks are performed efficiently.
  • Operate the switchboard station and process requests from guests.
  • Coordinate hotel operations during shift, including Front Desk, Communications, Concierge and Driveway.
  • Process guest arrivals, departures, room assignments and changes.
  • Secure payment, activate/reissue room keys and verify billing for guests.
  • Communicate with staff when guests are waiting for an available room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer, record and process all guest calls, requests, questions or concerns.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors.
  • Count and secure the bank at beginning and end of shift.
  • Cash-guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs and provide change.
  • Notify Security of any reports of theft.

  • FOLLOW HOTEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
  • REPORT ACCIDENTS, INJURIES AND UNSAFE WORK CONDITIONS TO MANAGER.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect hotel assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to hotel standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
