Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee site operations. This role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all site assets, utilities, and services.

About The Role

This is a critical position in our organization, responsible for planning and executing maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily site operations, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Manage site utilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor and improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) on critical production lines.
  • Leverage predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance strategies to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain optimal spare parts inventory, minimizing non-moving stock and negotiating with suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with external contractors and service providers to secure favorable terms.
  • Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives across electricity, gas, and water.
  • Oversee site services, including boilers, chillers, air handling units, chemical distribution systems, compressed air systems, and trade waste systems.
  • Develop and manage annual maintenance plans in collaboration with site stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of site documentation, including layout drawings, manuals, validations, and certifications.
  • Plan and execute efficient annual plant shutdowns.
  • Led and develop the maintenance team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Support new site projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in site maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP PM or similar maintenance systems.
  • Able to manage budgets and drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
