Facilities Manager Job Description

As a Facilities Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of our facilities, ensuring that all programs are executed promptly and meet quality standards.

You will be responsible for managing annual budgets, identifying areas for cost savings, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance programs to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime
  • Oversee cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff, and waste management services to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Analyze budget data to inform strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and best practices across the organization
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in business, administration, or technical stream (advantageous)
  • Previous facilities management experience, ideally in a commercial supply chain environment
  • Experience with budget responsibility and financial analysis
  • Strong administration, planning, coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
