Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality training programs, specifically focusing on high-risk plant operations and statutory requirements. The role involves conducting comprehensive inductions, updating existing training manuals, and developing new ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training strategies for high-risk plant operations
  • Deliver indusbtry-leading training courses, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and industry standards
  • Maintain currency with relevant DOSEP, WHS, and NOHSC legislation, staying up-to-date with the latest developments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new training programs and auditing criteria
  • Implement updated training materials as required, ensuring consistency across all programs
  • Manage and maintain accurate training records, utilizing an online learning portal
Requirements:
  • Highly developed health, safety, and environmental awareness
  • Proven experience in delivering training within minerals processing or refining operations, coupled with relevant current qualifications
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and Oracle software
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40116) or currently pursuing
  • Relevant certifications, including a High Risk Licence and WA "C" Class Driver's Licence
