This role involves managing a caseload of litigated and unlitigated motor vehicle property damage recoveries and settlements matters under the supervision and guidance of senior lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of litigated and unlitigated motor vehicle property damage recoveries and settlements matters
  • Work closely with senior lawyers and form part of a wider recovery team
  • Develop advocacy skills, strategic advice work, and practice management skills

We are looking for a motivated solicitor/associate who has a keen interest in insurance litigation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine interest in insurance law or litigation
  • 1-4 years post-admission experience in an insurance practice, preferably with some motor or property damage recoveries experience
  • Ability to work fast and meticulously with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Demonstrates an understanding of legal issues relevant to the practice of insurance law
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of seniority
