Job Title: Senior Associate

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate to join our Disputes team in Sydney.

You will deepen your litigation and disputes experience on large-scale class actions and product liability cases.

You will work with leading clients and as part of international defence teams, acting on regulatory issues and advice for clients in multiple sectors including life sciences, consumer goods, automotive and financial products.

The work includes litigious and contentious commercial matters, including class actions defence and advisory work for life sciences and consumer clients.

As a Senior Associate, you will manage litigation matters with responsibility for specific workstreams in large matters and day-to-day carriage of smaller matters, often as part of global defence teams.

You will enjoy a close-knit and collaborative team where your professional development will be actively sponsored by senior practitioners.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a lawyer in a commercial litigation practice;
  • Exposure to class actions or large-scale commercial litigation matters;
  • Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation;
  • Strong academic results;
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A collaborative approach.
