Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Expert to join our Nuclear Medicine team at Flinders Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering nuclear medicine medical imaging services of the highest standard to patients across the state.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional leadership to clinical staff and teaching radiology trainees, other staff, and medical students.
- Assisting the Head Nuclear Medicine Technologist to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Nuclear Medicine service.
- Performing and reporting nuclear medicine studies under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Consultant of the day.
- Active support and participation in quality improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure safe, appropriate, effective, and efficient patient-centered care processes.
- Representing SA Health at campus meetings and liaising with clinicians regarding service provision.
- A duty to support and encourage team cooperation amongst staff to optimise the level and diagnostic accuracy of the service provided.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
- Registrable as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration or Specialist registration.
- Completion of RACP basic training, including written and clinical examinations, for RACP trainees.
- Completion of the RANZCR part II examination and completion of all experiential training requirements, including project II, for RANZCR trainees.
