We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Development Coordinator to join our team at Capstone Recruitment in Sydney.

Job Summary

This is a rare opportunity to kickstart your career in development with one of Sydney's most highly regarded developers of luxury mixed-use developments, known for exceptional architectural envelope and interior designs. The role provides support to the executive leadership team, perfect for someone with Development Management experience looking to take on a more active role in project management and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist with the development of new projects by managing timelines, stakeholders, and resources. Take responsibility for smaller, individual project components.
  • Strategic & Financial Oversight: Help prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct research and prepare recommendations on financial and strategic decisions. Support the analysis of project feasibility, investment returns, and risk assessment.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with various departments (e.g., Construction, Legal, Sales) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Document Review & Reporting: Review contracts, agreements, and project documentation for accuracy. Draft reports, minutes, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • General Development Administration: Provide administrative assistance such as filing, organizing meetings, tracking progress against KPIs, and supporting the wider development team.
Salary and Benefits

Requirements
  • Previous experience in Development Management or a similar field at the assistant or junior level.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong analytical nous, and excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on both strategic and operational tasks.
  • Familiarity with financial documents and project management tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
