Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead complex environmental and biodiversity planning projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance to team members on environmental and biodiversity initiatives.
  • Offer expertise aligned with regulatory, policy, and organizational requirements.
  • Manage delivery of complex projects, overseeing internal teams and external consultants to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop team capabilities to foster high performance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute technical expertise to the development and implementation of strategies and policies related to environmental and biodiversity issues.
  • Facilitate community engagement and represent the organization at various forums.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree qualification is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in biodiversity or environmental planning, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Proven experience leading complex environmental projects and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
  • Able to deliver results in time-sensitive environments with diverse stakeholder interests.
  • Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Deep understanding of relevant legislation and environmental planning principles.
  • Expertise in advising on strategy and policy related to environmental and biodiversity issues.
  • Leadership skills to manage teams through change and uncertainty.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and negotiating sustainable outcomes.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement for complex projects.
