**About the Project**:

- _ 'Laidley STP project'_- Laidley, QLD
- 3 x Teams of up to 10 in your crew
- Scope includes:

- Precast wet well and submersible pump fit out
- 11km Pipeline
- Chemical dosing installations
- Interconnecting above
- and below-ground pipework, control valves, and instrumentation
- Conduits and pits
- Slabs on ground

**About you**:
Firstly, This is 6 month fixed term contract role, on this 11km pipeline project, based on the outskirts of Ipswich, Brisbane
- in Laidley, carrying through to Plainlands.

Therefore, we are seeking a highly competent and committed HSEQ specialist who demonstrates, compliance in all safety requirements are implemented and fulfilled. You bring energy and experience but also new ideas, innovation and a growth mindset. You have experience in developing system compliance upon start-up, provide support to field staff, and can provide corporate and industry knowledge for ongoing improvement.

You are team-focused, self-motivated and get great results via effective prioritisation of tasks and time management. You are known for your accuracy, commercial acumen and good understanding of the safety aspects that strengthen a successful project. You are passionate about quality, safety and environmental attributes in construction and are fully accountable for the results achieved. You are excited by the prospect of adding value to our diverse business and being a key contributor to the achievement of our growth objectives.

**What you need**:

- Qualifications and experience in Work Health and Safety and Environmental (Minimum a Certificate 4 in a Health and Safety specialty)
- A construction or Infrastructure background a pre-requisite
- Robust knowledge of construction legislation and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- able to coordinate with the Site Supervisor, client and Project Management team in ensuring all project undertakings are in line with the project HSE plans.
- Willingness to assist in all aspects of safety, quality and environmental
- Able to interact and support a diverse team of skilled trades and subbies
- Commitment, energy, and drive
- Proven track record of working to strict deadlines and undertaking HSE site inspections and assessments.
- Assist in managing site works and subcontractor activities throughout the duration of the project to ensure defect-free handover.
- Excellent and above average I.T and Administration skills and capacities.
- Report, document, and identify actions as necessary, and ensure they are implemented
