Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Lead to join our team. As a key member of the Sustainability Planning group, you will provide technical expertise and lead the delivery of complex energy management and carbon reduction programs.

  • You will be responsible for providing expert advice on sustainability, climate change mitigation, and environmental planning principles and practices.
  • Lead the preparation of our annual greenhouse gas inventory and reporting program.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve net zero targets by 2039.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in energy management, carbon accounting, and project management. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex concepts simply and concisely.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-level technical expertise and lead the delivery of complex projects and services.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve engagement and buy-in.
  • Stay up-to-date with national and international guidance and protocols on sustainability and climate change.
About You
  • Substantial experience in energy management, carbon accounting, and project management.
  • High-level experience in applying relevant federal, state, and local government legislation and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder consultation skills.
