Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Launceston.

The successful candidate will be responsible for actively working on critical DC and AC power systems, performing preventative and reactive work on Small to Large DC power systems, Solar Power systems, Generators and Telecommunications alarm telephony.

Additionally, you will be required to travel regularly in the area, responding to faults and installing batteries as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing preventative and reactive work on DC and AC power systems
  • Traveling to various locations to respond to faults and install batteries
  • Working independently or as part of a team to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • A Trade qualification or greater than 5 years working on Telecommunications equipment
  • Strong understanding of DC power and AC power Generation principles
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Desirable skills including Confined Space, Working at Heights/tech Rigging, Hoist/Lifting and CPR & First Aid qualifications
