Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our pioneering reverse vending machine installations and bulk processing equipment within their area of Tasmania. This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
  • Reporting on service assignments and faults
  • Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
  • Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
  • Analyzing areas of potential improvement of products and reporting to local service team
  • Undertaking cleaning of equipment

Requirements:

  • Educated to a trade certificate level or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Previous experience with operating systems, installing software, networking, and mobile telecommunications
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
  • Unrestricted driver's license
