Job Title

About the Role

This is a frontline leadership position responsible for day-to-day functioning and performance of the crew. Effective management of people and equipment to carry out planned work activities is required.

  • Prioritising of activities with the crew to achieve targets
  • Provide leadership to the crew setting a positive example and assisting the team to achieve their full potential
  • Clearly define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and carrying our statutory inspections and mine standards
  • Ensure all workers work safely and efficiently whilst carrying out their duties with due regard for quality of work
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Queensland First, Second or Third-class Certificate of Competency or a Queensland Mutual Recognition
  • Ability to think laterally, have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
