We are seeking an experienced Delivery Management Expert to join our newly formed Delivery Practices division.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between AU$120,000 and AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Delivery Management Expert, you will be responsible for implementing key initiatives in line with agreed budget, schedule, and quality. You will manage and coordinate the delivery plan, associated risks, and cross-functional resources within approved budgets and schedules.

You will drive governance of Agile, project, release management, change, and testing methodologies, helping to determine and deliver value up front. You will develop financial evaluation models, benefits, and outline ongoing BAU costs, ensuring a smooth handover to the business.

You will identify and assign resource requirements to deliver initiatives and track progress, taking accountability for the overall technical solution by providing thought leadership and governance to technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing key initiatives in line with agreed budget, schedule, and quality
  • Managing and coordinating the delivery plan, associated risks, and cross-functional resources within approved budgets and schedules

  • Helping to determine and deliver value up front

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have demonstrated leadership experience in successfully delivering initiative outcomes, with a strong focus on customer service and identifying the needs and pain points of end users.

You should possess outstanding influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills.

Broad technical understanding of banking technology, including application development, infrastructure management, cyber security, and integration, is highly regarded.

Proven estimating and resource management skills, experience establishing steering committees and working groups, and experience using JIRA to set sprint goals and track progress are also essential.
