Midwifery Training Program

Our midwifery training program is an exciting opportunity for registered nurses to develop their skills and knowledge in midwifery. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive orientation, experienced preceptors, and clinical skills development.

Selection Criteria:
  • Nursing Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time experience in an acute care setting
  • Citizenship: Australian Citizen
  • Education: Concurrent enrolment in a Diploma of Midwifery University program at UTS or WSU
  • Availability: Ability to undertake part-time employment of FTE 0.84, 8 and 12 hr shifts on a 7-day rotating roster
